Since 1953, Empower Simcoe has been a cornerstone of support for individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families. Founded by a dedicated group of parents seeking a more compassionate alternative to institutional care, the organization has grown into one of the region's leading providers of community support services.

Today, Empower Simcoe delivers a wide range of programs including early childhood services, community participation, supported living, employment assistance, housing supports, and family services. Their mission is to empower people to live independently, participate fully in their communities, and build meaningful connections throughout every stage of life.
